(vi) Description of Requirement: The Air Force Test Center (AFTC), Edwards AFB, CA, requires the purchase of five (5) Juniper Systems Mesa 4 RFID Handheld Readers (Part Number MS4-CFG, P/N 19773) in the configuration detailed under CLIN 0001. This configuration is the only device that meets the Air Force’s mandatory Windows 11 operating system requirement and security standards for the permanent disablement of Bluetooth and Wi-Fi capabilities. The unit must integrate seamlessly with existing Air Force mission applications and meet MIL-STD ruggedization standards for field operations. Market research confirmed that Juniper Systems is the sole OEM for the Mesa 4 RFID handheld reader. Only authorized Juniper Systems small business resellers are eligible to quote. RFQs posted on NASA SEWP and GSA eBuy produced no responses due to OEM vendor authorization restrictions.
