Field Veterinarian and Livestock Producer Training to Enhance Biosurveillance of Especially Dangerous Pathogens in Iraq This is a Sources Sought notice. This is NOT a solicitation for proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations. Description: The Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) is seeking to identify organizations/institutions/ companies capable of supporting the Biological Threat Reduction Agency. This project is a new effort that will strengthen the connection between field-level animal health professionals and national-level policy frameworks in Iraq to reduce the threat of transboundary outbreaks of EDPs. Outcomes of this project will support the Government of Iraq (GoI) federal government and the Kurdish Regional Government (KRG) with animal disease detection and control while maximizing BTRP’s investment in diagnostic laboratory capacity building throughout Iraq. This is not a request for competitive proposals; however, interested parties should respond in writing with a statement of capabilities package. It is requested that interested businesses having the capabilities necessary to meet or exceed all aspects of the effort described in the attached DRAFT Statement of Work (SOW), submit to the contract specialist a statement of capabilities package (no more than 10 pages in length, single-spaced, 12 point font minimum) demonstrating the ability to perform the services listed above. A one page cover letter must be provided with each submission with the following information: Company Name and Address, Company Business Size and Business Size Status, Point of Contact Name, Phone Number, and Email Address. All responses must be submitted no later than 12:00 PM, Eastern Standard Time on Thursday, January 30, 2020. All questions pertaining to this announcement must be submitted in writing to Ms. Sara Toni, Contract Specialist, at sara.j.toni.civ@mail.mil This notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract or otherwise pay for the information provided in the response. DTRA will evaluate all submissions that comply with the submission instructions using the following criteria: breadth, depth, and relevancy of experience as it relates to the work described above and in the DRAFT SOW.
