This announcement constitutes a Sources Sought request by the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC/HBJ) Hanscom AFB, MA. The Air Force currently operates an Airborne Radar Test Bed (ARTB) outfitted with Ku-Band single polarization radar panels. The Twin-Otter based ARTB enables technical experimentation, development and demonstration in areas like Moving Target Indicator (MTI), Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) and Electronic Protection. The Government is interested in increasing ARTB capabilities by integrating radar panels with additional operating bands and polarizations, which may enable continued advancements in the aforementioned areas and others. The Government intends to integrate the radar panels onto the ARTB and with a Government-developed COARPs 2.0 radar processor and develop a COARPs 2.0 Mode Development Kit (MDK) using technical data from the radar panels. The upgraded ARTB and MDK may support continued experimentation, development and demonstrations in various mission areas, as well as enable third-party development of radar modes.
