The Air Force intends to solicit the following supply: The 76 AMXG/569th /566th Squadron is requesting utilization of funds for the purchase of back support exoskeletons. Requesting forty (40) back support exoskeletons as follows: Less than 5 lbs. weight At least 40 lbs. of lift support One-size-fits-all style system Operator-facing self-adjustment. No more than 2.5 inches of a silhouette increase during operation Back must include adjustments for body height, hip width, torso height, leg length, and torso diameter. Must be harness compatible. (No need for special approvals, just need capability to wear both at once without impediment to motion or work.) Must be machine washable or cleaned via ozone, or a combination of the two. Must have easily identifiable donning/doffing features for emergency egress if required. Cannot be powered via electric energy of any kind (i.e. cannot use motors, servos, or contain any electrical circuit) There should be No installation or training required by any outside party. A Firm Fixed Price type contract is contemplated. Estimated Period of Performance: 60 days ARO This is a small business set-aside System for Award Management (SAM) is required to receive any award. Contractors can register electronically at https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/. The NAICS code for this requirement is 339113 with a size standard of 800 EMP. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement by submitting a proposal.
