The Air Force intends to solicit the following supply: The 76 AMXG is requesting utilization of funds for the purchase of B-52 Bomb Bay Stand The requested descriptions/specifications are outlined below: Fabrication of ONE (1) B-52 Bomb Bay Stand prototype built to fit the Bomb Bay area and ensure no further design changes are needed. Once fitting test has been confirmed, this will be followed by a Non-destructive Inspect (NDI) on all welds for crack. Once the inspection is complete a written report will be provided to the SME. • The prototype will be built at manufacture’s facility, disassembled, shipped, and re-assembled at Tinker AFB, building 2121. • All Stands will be painted with OSHA Safety 13591 YELLOW or Equivalent IAW FED STD 595C and a Safety Data Sheet (SDS) will be provided to the SME at time of final acceptance. • Contractor must also verify load ratings through finite element analysis (FEA) performed by certified engineer and provide document A Firm Fixed Price type contract is contemplated. Estimated Period of Performance: 60 days ARO This is a small business set-aside System for Award Management (SAM) is required to receive any award.
