The purpose of this sources sought synopsis (SSS) is to solicit feedback from the marketplace on specific companies’ ability to meet the United States Air Force’s (USAF’s) requirement for C-130H Avionics Modernization Program Increment 2 (AMP Inc 2) kit production and fielding. Contract number FA8625-19-C-9000 was awarded in 2019 and was intended to satisfy the USAF’s C-130H AMP Inc 2 requirement in its entirety, including development, production, installation, and all necessary support to field the modified aircraft. However, delayed development resulted in a changed production landscape. As a result, it may be necessary for the USAF to either award a new contract for AMP Inc 2 production/fielding. The responses to this SSS will aid the USAF in that decision-making process. This SSS is a request for information (RFI) and does not constitute a Request for Proposals (RFP). Any responses are submitted voluntarily, and the USAF will not reimburse respondents for any costs incurred in preparation of the responses. Please find additional information in Attachment 1.
