NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLICIT AND AWARD TO A SINGLE SOURCE THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. This is a notice of intent to solicit and award a single source contract under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b). The reference number is A035010. The 628th Contracting Squadron (628 CONS), 101 E. Hill Blvd, Joint Base Charleston, South Carolina (JB CHS), intends to solicit and award a single source contract for 2024 JB CHS Air Show: Parking, Traffic, and Logisitics Management Service. 628 CONS intends to solicit and make an award to Solutions Event Services INC; CAGE: 6PP61; a Small Business, 100-34 BAKER CT, ISLAND PARK, NY 11558 USA. The contracting officer has determined the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available. A copy of the single source justification is attached to this posting. In accordance with FAR 5.207(c)(15), the proposed contract action is for services for which the government intends to solicit and negotiate with a single source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b). This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes; however, responsible sources may submit a quote which shall be considered by the agency. A determination by the government not to compete this requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
