THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT / REQUEST FOR INFORMATION ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. The Naval Munitions Command Atlantic (NMC) at Joint Base Charleston, SC has a requirement for a 60 month lease (12 month base period + four 12 month options) of 3 new yard trucks for the movement of munitions and weapons. NMC's mission requires the movement of chassis with ordinance loaded containers to and from explosive storage areas. The Yard Trucks must meet the following minimum salient characteristics: A fifth wheel with a lifting capacity of at least 70,000 lb., 5" Inside Diameter Hydraulic Cylinders with a 17" lift, a Wet Spline PTO with a 60,000 lb. rating, and have spark arresting mufflers installed. Full service and maintenance is also required, along with 12 hours of operator training per year.
