NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support Philadelphia intends to award a sole-source, three-year repair contract to Moog Military Aircraft, LLC for V-22 actuator components, as Moog is the original manufacturer and only known source. The government does not own the data or rights needed to purchase these parts from other sources, and no drawings are available. Other responsible sources may submit capability statements for consideration, but any unapproved firm must complete a Source Approval Request, and the procurement will not be delayed for that approval. The acquisition will be conducted under FAR Part 15, is not a commercial-item procurement, and is not set aside for small business. Award is expected to be made to Moog.
