The purpose of this Request for Information is to identify interested contractor that are in possession of a fleet of aircraft suitable for Adversary Air Support and Close Air Support. The purpose of this Request for Information is to identify interested contractor that are in possession of a fleet of aircraft suitable for Adversary Air Support and Close Air Support. For contracted Adversary Air (ADAIR) Support: A fleet is defined as 12 fighter-type aircraft, preferably with a current or previous Military Flight Release (MFR) Airworthiness Certificate from a DoD Agency. For contracted Close Air Support (CCAS): A fleet is defined as 6 aircraft that are currently capable of dropping BDU-33s, preferably with a current or previous MFR Airworthiness Certificate from a DoD Agency. In response to this RFI, please provide your companies capabilities as well as a spreadsheet identifying the tail numbers, aircraft location, FAA Certification Status, DoD Airworthiness Certification Status, and the ownership status of the aircraft. The Air Force is not currently looking for aircraft that require importation, upgrades, or modification; only aircraft capable of the following: ADAIR: At least 12 Fighter Type Aircraft capable of the following: Airspeed: >.8M Altitude: 100’ AGL – FL500MSL Maneuverability: +7G / -3.5G Capable On-Station/Actively employing Beyond Visual Range (BVR) Mission Set (Vulnerability Period): >30 minutes Active Air Intercept Sensor/Long Wave Infrared Search and Track (IRST) Sensor: >Detection/track/employ on a 2-meter squared target at 30 NM CATM (Infrared [IR]) High Off-Boresight (HOBS) (IR) Capability Tactical Data Link (TDL) Electronic Attack (EA) Jam/Shoot Capable Active Aerial Refueling (AAR) Capable (desired) CCAS: At least 6 Aircraft capable of the following: Airspeed: >175 KTAS Altitude: 100’ AGL - >15K’ AGL Maneuverability: >+4G/-1G Capable Climb Rate: >1.5K ft/Min On-Station/Actively employing Close Air Support Mission Set (Range Time): >60 minutes Weapons Delivery: BDU-33 Digitally Aided CAS Night Vision Device (NVD) Capable Targeting Sensor Infrared (IR) Pointer Capable Video Downlink (VDL) Capable Laser Spot Tracker (LST) Capable *If you are an existing CAF CAS IDIQ contract holder there is no need to provide additional data in response to this RFI.
