Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center (AFNWC), located at Hanscom AFB, MA is contemplating award of a contract to install at CONUS locations five (5) Antenna Support Towers (AST) and two (2) High Electromagnetic Pulse (HEMP) Shielded Enclosures (HSE) shelter IAW the government provided line drawings. The AST and HSE provide the infrastructure and platform to support the Family of Beyond Line-of-sight Terminals (FAB-T) equipment and antennas. This system provides Electromagnetic Pulse (EMP) protection to its internal satellite communication equipment in the event of a High altitude nuclear explosion, and provide critical communications within the military and other government agencies.
