This posted announcement is a Pre-Solicitation notice of a proposed contract action in accordance with FAR Subpart 5.2. Eielson AFB, Alaska (EAFB) intends to issue a solicitation for the acquisition of non-personal services. EAFB has an existing and ongoing requirement for the operation, maintenance, service, and repair of Wastewater Pretreatment Systems (Oil-Water Separators) and grease traps to protect and extend the life of Government facilities and property while ensuring compliance with all local, state, and federal laws and regulations. General Scope: Services consist of the Contractor servicing, maintaining, inspecting, and repairing all Grease Trap and Oil-Water Separator Systems, report findings, and performing requested waste characterization testing, creating and submitting reports, invoices and any listed deliverables in a manner consistent with laws, rules, regulations, EAFB and Air Force Installation Policy & Procedures and the PWS, in a timely and accurate manner. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this work is 562112 – Hazardous Waste Collection. The small business size standard is $41.5 million. The contractor shall ensure that wastewater flowing through the pretreatment systems is maintained in a manner to prevent the cause of nuisance orders as well as prevention of any service interruptions. The contractor shall establish a service call system that is responsive to all types of service requests. All costs should be Free on Board (FOB) Destination, EAFB to include any containers or replacement parts. The government anticipates an award will be made to a responsible contractor whose offer, conforming to the solicitation; will be most advantageous to the Government. This anticipated contract will consist of a Base Award Period of one (1) calendar year, and four (4) one-year option periods. Total contract period, to include options, shall not exceed five (5) calendar years. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be available Monday, June 6, 2022, (date subject to change). The solicitation will be issued electronically. Potential offerors are responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation package, as no paper copies will be furnished.
