The 673d Contracting Squadron, Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson (JBER), Alaska intends to award a firm-fixed price, sole-source procurement action to Johnson & Johnson Vision Care Inc. for ABBOTT IntraLase® Femtosecond (FS) Laser Service and Maintenance. This Sources Sought Synopsis (SSS) is pursuant to FAR PART 10 in support of Market Research being conducted by the United States Air Force to identify potential sources to perform maintenance support services and determine if this effort can be competitive. The Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, test equipment, transportation, parts, materials, supervision and other items and services necessary to perform preventive maintenance and calibration (on-site) for the Abbott Intralase FS Laser (ECN:024344). The service shall include any hardware or software updates, trouble shooting, re-programming and software documentation. The contractor shall ensure the equipment functions as designed by the manufacture with no degradation in system performance. See attached Notice of Intent to Award Sole Source.
