The 502d Contracting Squadron (CONS), Joint Base San Antonio (JBSA) - Randolph, TX. 78150, is issuing this Sources Sought Request for the installation of 100GB Commercial Internet Service at a 5G Research and Development facility (Building 3528) located on Joint Base San Antonio - Fort Sam Houston, TX. In addition to the initial installation requirement, monthly internet service will be required for a period of approximately 36 months. Internet service will be outside the military network and shall be available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. A direct fiber path is available from the main connection point at the Brooke Army Medical Center JBSA- Fort Sam Houston to the project site. Contractor is expected to provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, other items and non-personal services necessary to support this requirement. Since this is a new installation, contractor will be required to provide a formal design and engineering solution for this requirement. Work shall include installation of all internet connection components/equipment, and fully operational/tested 100GB Commercial internet services prior to government acceptance to the 5G R&D facility. The Government is ONLY interested in identifying potential sources, (in particularly small business concerns), capable of providing these products and services as part of initial market research efforts. To satisfy this requirement, a formal solicitation may be executed and posted separately at a future date. Again, this Sources Sought Request SHALL NOT BE construed as a formal solicitation or as an obligation on the part of the Government to acquire these products or services. Information provided to the Government as a result of this posting is strictly voluntary, with no expectation of compensation and clearly provided at no cost to the Government.
