SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE: Equipment Repair and Maintenance (Requirement # A005793) This is a SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE / REQUEST FOR INFORMATION, not a pre-solicitation notice or solicitation for proposals/quotations. Pursuant to FAR Part 10 (Market Research), the purpose of this notice is to determine if sources capable of satisfying the agency's requirement exists. Pursuant to FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 13, competition and set-aside decisions may be based on the results of this market research. This notice in no way obligates the Government to any further action. 502D Contracting Squadron (CONS) is seeking information for a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) for Repair, Calibration and Refurbishment of Government Owned Precision Test Equipment for the 59th Medical Wing (MDW), Joint Base San Antonio (JBSA), TX. The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, parts, test equipment, tools, facilities, shipping and incidentals necessary to perform calibration and major repair or refurbishment services on a varying quantity of Government owned precision test equipment. The equipment item description/services information is in Attachment 1, Equipment Repair and Maintenance Item Description. Upon review of industry response to this Sources Sought, the Government will determine the solicitation strategy. The requirement will be a firm fixed price (FFP) BPA, Small Business Set-Aside, with size standard of $20,500,000.00. The NAICS Code is 811219 (Other Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance) Potential contractors must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM) to be eligible for award. A response to this sources sought notice will not be considered an adequate response to any forthcoming solicitation announcement. There is no solicitation available at this time. RESPONSE INFORMATION: The Government is only conducting market research and attaining information to identify contractors that are able to provide all items/services listed in Attachment 1, Equipment Repair and Maintenance Item Description, and the cost(s) associated to acquire the specific items/services. All information provided is STRICTLY VOLUNTARY.
