This IFB relates to Construction and Passenger vehicles in condition code H found in the Jordan IFB, the items could include but not limited to dump trucks, loaders, backhoes, graders, bulldozers, passenger vans, and pick-up trucks which the U.S. Government has determined to be excess to the needs of the Department of Defense and the Federal Government. NOTE: Condition Code H: Materiel which has been determined to be unserviceable and does not meet repair criteria; includes condemned items which are radioactively contaminated; Type I shelf-life materiel that has passed the expiration date; and Type II shelf-life materiel that has passed expiration date and cannot be extended. ALL OR NONE BIDDING The bidder awarded this contract will be awarded all seventy-three (73) items or none of the items. Bidders must place a bid on each individual item to be considered for award. Purchaser will be expected to pay the Unit Bid Price for each item. The bid will be determined by using the cumulative price of all seventy-three (73) items. The bidder with the highest cumulative bid will be considered the apparent high bidder and will be vetted prior to award in accordance with provisions in Section D below. It is expected that the awarded company will remove all the items in this IFB. The awarded company must possess all appropriate licenses for all items or have sub-contractors with appropriate licenses to remove all items. Award will not be made to a bidder who demonstrates a capability to remove some, but not all, of the items listed in the IFB. A.4 Table 1: IFB Item Number Details: Table 1 provides specific information for the location, material, and quantity. This IFB is for the sale of property being sold on an as is/where is and the purchaser is not required to perform any particular services on the property. As the owner of the property the successful purchaser will be able to re-sell it in any form, or to make any repairs it deems necessary subject to any limitations in host nation laws. The comments provided in the third column of Table 1 are intended to reflect the seller’s cursory review of the property with the intent to describe work that would be required to restore the vehicle/equipment. It should not be considered a complete list of potential defects in the equipment or vehicle, but instead is a listing of items that were readily observable by the Government personnel inspecting the vehicle. Prospective bidders are strongly cautioned to inspect the property to make their own assessment of the condition of the property and its value for purposes of preparing a bid. Please read the entire IFB for detailed information on individual vehicles and attached modification that removes the opportunity to physically inspect the vehicles.
