Description: The USSOCOM United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) SOF AT&L-KR is currently seeking potential sources for the manufacture and delivery of the following cartridges: 9mm Barrier Blind Jacketed Hollow Point cartridge loaded with a 147 grain projectile. Specifications: The 9mm Barrier Blind JHP loaded with a 147 grain projectile shall safely function in Glock 17, 19 and 26 pistols and US Army Modular Handgun System. The cartridge must utilize components (primer/powder) qualified by a US Army Energetic Materials Qualification Board (EMQB) Supportability Statement and loaded to the qualified configuration. The projectile shall also score above 400 on the FBI’s 500 point scale. Planned Acquisition: The Government contemplates an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for Fiscal Years (FY) 20-25 for this acquisition (five years from date of award). The estimated quantity to be procured for each fiscal year is up to 700,000 rounds. Submission Information: All responsible and interested sources should submit their capabilities to produce this cartridge configuration. The respondent must demonstrate and provide valid documentation that they have the ability to produce a minimum of 700,000 rounds annually. Once a determination has been made by the Government as to the capabilities of the interested sources, the Government will release the required performance requirements and/or the detailed specifications. Please identify any Proprietary information submitted. The Government reserves the right to reject, in whole or in part, any private sector input as a result of this market survey. The Government is not obligated to notify respondents of the results of this survey.
