The Hazardous Material Abatement Contract (HMAC)Indefinite-Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract consist of providing Hazardous Material Sampling, Testing, Abatement, and Remediation requirement needs for military facilities at Joint Base Elmendorf Richardson (JBER). Task Orders (TO) will be issued under the general contract to include a broad range of work to prepare remediation plans and abatement strategies, perform activities according to those plans and strategies to support maintenance, repair, alteration, and clean-up of real property at JBER, The projects will include tasks in a variety of trades including, but not limited to limited scope demolition and repair of facility components including, but not limited to, structural members, Architectural features, systems and finishes, Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing features and system incidental to remediation plans and abatement strategies. The contractor may be required to perform work not anticipated at the time of award, but within the original scope of work. Additional tasks may include emergency planning and abatement when needed. The intention of this IDIQ is to perform sampling, testing, abatement strategies, develop remediation plans and where feasible to execute those plans and strategies or to have those plans and strategies performed by other to support other contracted efforts. All work shall be performed in strict accordance with current Federal, State, and Local, Codes, Regulations, Ordinances, and design and construction standards whether included, referenced or implied to complete acceptable and fully functional facilities for the Federal Government at JBER, AK.
