Responses to this notice will assist the Government in identifying potential sources in determining if a Small Business set-aside of the solicitation is appropriate, and in determining whether or not this approach to securing contracting support is practicable. The 87th Contracting Squadron (87 CONS) - Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst (JBMDL), NJ is conducting market research to determine the existence of interested Small Business sources for North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 333414- Heating Equipment (except Warm Air Furnaces) Manufacturing. The purpose of this Sources Sought notice is to obtain information on qualified and experienced contractors interested in providing proposals. The following information is requested in this Sources Sought: 1. Company name, point of contact, phone number, and address; 2. DUNS Number and CAGE Code; 3. Interest in nature of participation [e.g., prime contractor, teaming partner, primary subcontractor]; 4. Small Business certification; 5. Capability Statements Interested contractors may provide the above information via e-mail to the address listed below. Information submitted must be in sufficient detail as to allow for a thorough government review of firm's interest and capabilities. This information is due no later than 3 Decenber 2021 4:45PM EST. The 621 Contingency Response Group mission is to provide global, persistent air mobility effects, expertise, and flawless execution for the Joint Force on behalf of USTRANSCOM and Air Mobility Command. This Statement of Work (SOW) addresses the need to procure effective space heaters to enable response forces in cold weather climates to continue their respective mission. This heater will be used in deployed locations. The vendor will provide all necessary hardware for the heater and all user operation manuals. The equipment managers of the 621 CRG will be responsible for the maintaining and accountability of this item.
