This notice announces the establishment of Manufacturing Qualification Requirements (MQRs) for commodity items used on major U.S. Air Force aircraft, as listed in an attached master list. To become a qualified manufacturer, potential suppliers must submit a Source Approval Request (SAR) package in accordance with specified Air Force instructions and the MQR document. The MQR clarifies the requirements a supplier must satisfy to obtain source approval for manufacturing specific items. The items covered include structures, instruments, and accessories managed by the 848th Supply Chain Management Group.
