Fleet Readiness Center Southeast (FRCSE) is responsible for the maintenance, repair, overhaul, and technical services of aircraft, engines, and aeronautical components for the United States Navy. FRCSE utilizes a WFL milturn to produce various aircraft components and structural parts for F/A-18A-D, H-60, P-8 P-3, and other aircraft Currently the WFL. The WFL milturn does not have a post processor which greatly suppresses the machine’s ability to produce complex aerospace parts. The post processor is the crucial link between the upstream CAM software and the downstream machine. The post processor integrates the programs from the CAM software and integrates them into a language that can be understood and utilized by the downstream machine. The anticipated Period of Performance is 1-year base period from date of award, with four, 1-year option periods for a total contract lifecycle of five years. REQUIRED CAPABILITIES: 1. Vendor must be able to deliver all products listed: WFL M120 : Multi-Function 5 axes Machine Kit : Post Processor (Machine Kit) to include Full G-Code Simulation. This software shall include: Probing cycles to include aligning surface, measure angle, calibrate probe random diameter, computation, setting number tracings, calibrating the probe, two point align, aligning the C-axis, measuring eccentricity, searching for characteristics, temperature compensation, testing characteristics, entry in zero offset shift, contour cycles for the controller (Migear 1, Migear 2, Migear 8, migslot, migslot1, and engraving cycles). Productivity Plus for CAM software, and D’Andrea kit add-on. 2. Provide pricing for the products listed: WFL M120 : Multi-Function 5 axes Machine Kit : Post Processor (Machine Kit) to include Full G-Code Simulation. This software shall include: Probing cycles to include aligning surface, measure angle, calibrate probe random diameter, computation, setting number tracings, calibrating the probe, two point align, aligning the C-axis, measuring eccentricity, searching for characteristics, temperature compensation, testing characteristics, entry in zero offset shift, contour cycles for the controller (Migear 1, Migear 2, Migear 8, migslot, migslot1, and engraving cycles). , Productivity Plus for CAM software, and D’Andrea kit add-on. DoD PKE exists to support our customers; therefore, customer support and outreach are our top priorities. 3. Describe and provide an example of your company’s experience supporting others in deploying systems to use an enterprise PKI, with a focus on techniques used during support (e.g., help desk, technical guides, on-site visits). 4. Vendor must be able to provide labor, supervision, transportation, vehicles, supplies, test equipment, materials, and tools required to perform the installation of the Post-Processor Software no later than 12 weeks after contract award. 5. Vendor must be able to deliver machine-kit training for five business days in the base year and include pricing for training. 6. Vendor must be able to provide installation and four business days of training for the Productivity Plus for CAM Software five weeks after the completion of the Post-Processor Software installation. 7. Vendor must be able to deliver software maintenance for four 1-year option periods and include pricing for maintenance. 8. Describe and provide an example of your company’s experience with providing a software solution to operate with Siemens NX CAM Software and WFL CNC Millturn machines. 9. Describe and provide an example of your company’s experience reflecting proficiency in product support, technical support, remote and onsite training, and maintenance.
