Defense Information System Agency (DISA) Lifecycle Planning & Enterprise Contracts Branch is seeking information from industry to assist with the development and planning of a potential new requirement. DISA has a need to gather information for alternative solutions in support of maintenance for Cisco branded equipment. Cisco Certified Gold Partners who are authorized to resell Cisco services globally should respond to this RFI. Responders can be a Cisco Certified Gold Partner or a Third-Party Maintenance (TPM) provider that is partnered with a Cisco Certified Gold Partner. DISA needs a hybrid-maintenance support solution for our Cisco Infrastructure, which combines Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), Third-party maintenance (TPM) offerings, and a device sparing program to provide 100% coverage for our Cisco hardware. The maintenance support solution must provide a process to achieve continuous 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and 365 days a year support for all Department of Defense (DoD)’s Cisco hardware assets. The support should include comprehensive hardware, software, and firmware support, remote monitoring, and certified spare parts with on-site installation. This RFI is not a RFP and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract. Responses will not be considered as proposals nor will any award be made as a result of this synopsis. Questions are due by August 31, 2020 at 2pm CST and responses are due by September 3, 2020 at 2pm CST.
