A Request for Proposal (RFP) will be solicited for the following items: NSN NOMENCLATURE 8340-01-323-2454 MCPS System, Green 8340-01-334-7529 MCPS System, Tan 8340-01-459-8172 MCPS Tent, Green 8340-01-459-8167 MCPS Tent, Tan 8340-01-327-7685 MCPS Table 8340-01-327-6124 MCPS Mapboard 8340-01-334-2341 MCPS Frame The Overall AEQ for Systems/Tents is 360 EA and Components is 1450 EA for the entire contract. The Overall Min for Systems/Tents is 100 EA and Components is 475 EA for the entire contract. The Overall Max for Systems/Tents is 1500 EA and Components is 7000 EA for the entire contract. This acquisition will result in the award of a firm fixed price, indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity type contract. This acquisition will include a three (3) year ordering period and will allow for tiered pricing for each 12-month tier period. Acceptance of each of the three (3) 12-month tier period is mandatory. The solicitation will be issued as unrestricted, and it will include an evaluation preference for Hub Zone Small Business concerns. The delivery destinations for subject items are the Defense Distribution Depot, New Cumberland, PA and the Distribution Depot Pendergrass, Pendergrass, GA with deliveries commencing 150 days after date of award. Award will be based on the lowest priced proposal; therefore, past performance is not being evaluated as a technical factor. Submittal of a First Article is required 75 days after date of award at the contractor’s facility. The actual RFP, with the information and specifications will be available on or after April 10, 2023. Please note that all dates are estimated. The Defense Appropriations and Authorization Acts and other statutes (including what is commonly referred to as “The Berry Amendment”) impose restrictions on the DOD’s acquisition of foreign products and services. Generally, Clothing and Textile items (as defined in DFARS 252.225-7014), including the materials and components thereof (other than sensors, electronics, or other items added to, and not normally associated with clothing), must be grown, reprocessed, reused, melted or produced in the United States, its possessions or Puerto Rico, unless one of the DFARS 225.7002-2 exceptions applies.
