Under “DRAWINGS-CARTOONS-PATTERNS” and for Drawing 5-4-196, Note 5, after “RAISED OR STAMPED LETTERS” add, As an alternate and in reference to the actual position of the marking, delete “3.50 +/- 0.13” and substitute with “2.625 +/- 0.200”. Under “SECTION D-PACKAGING AND MARKING/PREPARATION FOR DELIVERY/SUPPLEMENTAL INSTRUCTIONS after, “EACH PIN SHALL BE INDIVIDUALLY UNIT PACKAGED AND LABELED FOR SHIPMENT IN A SEALED PLASTIC BAG” add “The heavyweight plastic bag shall be a minimum of 6 millimeters.”. Under interim changes to MIL-P-501, add, “Page 5, paragraph 3.5.2 and at the end of the paragraph add, ‘As an alternate for the Type III Pin, Sherwin-Williams Production Baking Enamel PN11136 F73XXR1088 4388 may be used’.”. Oral quotations will be requested at the same time of this announcement. The closing date for oral quotations is February 24, 2023 3pm EST.
