The TRI-GSM effort provides the support necessary to carry out the technologies refreshment, implementation, and integration activities for the optimization and expansion of customer capabilities for the DODIN/DISN and related services. The core telecommunications and IT services capabilities supported by the requirement enables the operational needs of the warfighter by providing world-wide telecommunications, IT services, natural disaster relief, and humanitarian assistance in peace time crises and regional conflicts, as well as executing on-going strategic deterrence activities.
