The TRI-GSM effort provides the support necessary to carry out the technologies refreshment, implementation, and integration activities for the optimization and expansion of customer capabilities for the DODIN/DISN and related services. The core telecommunications and IT services capabilities supported by the requirement enables the operational needs of the warfighter by providing world-wide telecommunications, IT services, natural disaster relief, and humanitarian assistance in peace time crises and regional conflicts, as well as executing on-going strategic deterrence activities.

The government is seeking innovative and proactive solutions to increase efficiency, speed to implementation, and decreased costs, as well as predictive and nimble solutions that enable increased speed of service and enhanced customer experiences while supporting Department of Defense (DoD) and non-DoD customers that consume services from the DoD Information Network (DODIN). This RFI is requesting responses from small businesses including the following subsets: Small Disadvantaged Businesses (SDBs), Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone) Firms; Certified 8(a), Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSBs) and Woman Owned Small Businesses (WOSBs).
