This is a Sources Sought Notice, seeking responses to determine interested parties for participation in the inclusion of a brand-name Class Justification & Approval (J&A) for facility generators. The Air Force Installation Contracting Center (AFICC) at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, plans to establish a limited selection of manufacturers to support new & replacement facility generator purchases at U.S. Air Force installations throughout the Contiguous United States (CONUS) and Outside the Contiguous United States (OCONUS). This Class J&A is not for a specific USAF installation acquisition; rather, its intent is to standardize the generator manufacturer to each installation’s preference or predominant brand as they buy new or replacement units over time. This is a Sources Sought Announcement; THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION ANNOUNCEMENT. It is published for informational and planning purposes only and not as a request for competitive quotations, therefore, no solicitation document exists for this requirement. The purpose of this Source Sought Notice is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources, their size classification relative to the NAICS Code, and obtain feedback to better understand the industry standard. A list of questions for consideration is provided below. Responses to this Source Sought will be used by the government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. Business concerns responding to this sources sought should articulate their capabilities clearly and adequately. Respondents are encouraged to submit questions or suggestions in response to this posting concerning the attached draft requirements documents. Please limit your response to 2 pages. Responses shall reference this Sources Sought and shall include the following information and response to the questions below: • Company name and address • Point of contact name, email address, and telephone numbers • CAGE Code & SAM Registered • DUNS Number • Business size and any/all socio-economic categories for the identified NAICS code 1. What are you company's capabilities to support this contract action? 2. A capability statement, including summary of relevant performance history (with points of contact and applicable telephone numbers, addresses and email addresses, if available) within the past three years. 3. Please list any questions or comments about the proposed Class J&A. IF A SOLICITATION IS ISSUED, IT WILL BE ANNOUNCED SEPARATELY AT A LATER DATE, AND ALL INTERESTED PARTIES MUST RESPOND TO EACH SPECIFIC SOLICITATION ANNOUNCEMENT SEPARATELY FROM THE RESPONSES TO THIS J&A ANNOUNCEMENT. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this Sources Sought and no contract will be directly awarded on the basis of this sources sought. Any information submitted by respondents to this Sources Sought shall be voluntary. All questions/comments or any quotation/response regarding this notice shall be addressed in writing via email and received no later than 5:00 P.M. CST, 15 June 2021 to the below individuals.
