The Air Force intends to issue a sole-source modification to Lockheed Martin Corporation for F-35 Joint Strike Fighter AN/AAQ-40 Electro-Optical Targeting System Technical Refresh 3 gap-analysis and software sustainment capability assessment services. The work supports the 402d Software Engineering Group in identifying requirements, tasks, data, deliverables, and infrastructure needed to establish organic software sustainment capability for the F-35 EOTS TR-3 Operational Flight Program. The effort includes phase-in, execution, phase-out, required deliverables, contractor and Government site visits, travel, and reach-back support. The action is associated with Robins Air Force Base, Georgia, and Lockheed Martin in Fort Worth, Texas. Lockheed Martin is the original equipment manufacturer and possesses the specialized technical knowledge, configuration knowledge, access, data, development/test-environment familiarity, and support capability needed for this requirement.
