Packaging and Marking Requirements Quantity per Unit Pack (QUP): 001 Standard: Packaging will be in accordance with ASTM D3951, "Standard Practice for Commercial Packaging". Precedence: All DLA Master List of Technical and Quality Requirements take precedence over ASTM D3951. Marking and Labeling: All packaging and packing shall be marked and labeled in accordance with MIL-STD-129, "Military Marking for Shipment and Storage". Unit of Issue (U/I) and Quantity per Unit Pack (QUP): The U/I and QUP will be as specified in the resulting contract or purchase order. Palletization: Palletization shall be in accordance with RP001: DLA Packaging Requirements for Procurement. 5.
