This is a source approval request for a specific part where Appleton Marine, Inc. is currently the only approved source, as competitive acquisition is not currently economically feasible. Companies that believe they can manufacture the item may submit a Source Approval Request (SAR) package to the Contract Specialist to be reviewed and qualified as an alternate approved source. The contractor must demonstrate their product meets or exceeds the quality of the currently approved item. All information must be provided directly to the Contract Specialist by the specified response date.
