THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A LIMITED SOURCE ORDER AND IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. IAW FAR 8.405-6(a)(1)(B), "Only one source is capable of providing the supplies or services required at the level of quality required because the supplies or services are unique or highly specialized." The Government intends to award an order on a limited source basis, to Systems Technology Inc. for ParaSim hardware and software upgrades to the existing system. Systems Technology Inc. has provided documentation that it is the sole owner of all patent, proprietary and engineering rights to PARASIM; they do not utilize distributors, brokers, outside service providers, outside installers, or resellers; and utilization of a third party would result in breach of warranty. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. However, all quotes received by the date of close specified herein shall be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Interested vendors may identify their interest and submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency, by 10/18/2024 at 11:00 AM CDT.
