NO FUNDS ARE AVAILABLE TO PAY FOR PREPARATION OF RESPONSES TO THIS ANNOUNCEMENT. ANY INFORMATION SUBMITTED BY RESPONDENTS TO THIS TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION IS STRICTLY VOLUNTARY. The Directorate of Contracting, 460 CONF/PKA at Buckley AFB, CO is conducting preliminary market research to obtain information from potential and eligible contractors for contemplated award of a firm-fixed price contract for the 460th Civil Engineering Squadron. This contracting effort will be subject to the availability of funds. The awarded Contractor shall design, engineer, furnish, install, program and test a new server-based VMS to manage, record, and retrieve video surveillance footage for all existing cameras. The Contractor shall furnish and install a total of three (3) workstations with a total of three (3) LARGE monitors to view live and play-back recorded surveillance footage. Placement of these workstations will be distributed between the two dormitories. Exact location will be determined after award. The Contractor shall include installation of CAT6 cable if necessary. The VMS system will be Milestone XProtect Professional+ or equal. VMS system will provide motion activated video recording capabilities. Systems shall include incident recording system. VMS must provide the end user(s) with "health-check" capability: indication of whether a camera is operational or non-operational. VMS will have the ability to assign each user a unique login with role-based rights/privileges and track login history. Servers will have the capability to record/store a minimum of 30 days of data at a resolution consistent with facial identification capability.
