Issue Date: Thursday, October 22, 2020 Close Date/Time: Monday, November 23, 2020; 3:00PM The solicitation will provide for one (1) contract. The resultant contract will contain a one (1) year base period and four (4) option periods of one (1) year. ---------------------------------- This acquisition is for a Fixed Price with Economic Price Adjustment (EPA), Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Contract for the manufacture and delivery of the Automatic Sprinkler Alarm Valve (NSN: 4210-00-575-9297). The item is classified as sole source to Keystone Fire Protection Company (CAGE: 1U693), Part Number: 8124716 (formerly P/N 124-300-1). The solicitation number is SPE8EG-21-Q-0001 and will be awarded under FAR 13.5 procedures. The acquisition will be accomplished using Other than Full and Open Competition procedures in accordance with FAR 13.501(a), Sole Source Acquisition. The solicitation will provide for one (1) contract. The resultant contract will contain a two (2) year base period and three (3) option periods of one (1) year. The contract maximum will be $6,982,500.00. Delivery will be FOB Origin. The Government required delivery schedule is 140 days after date of order. The Berry Amendment and Buy American Act clauses apply. FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13.5, Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items procedures will be utilized. Any resultant contract will be awarded to the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable offeror. This synopsis should NOT be considered a Request for Proposal, Request for Quote, or Invitation for Bid. The Government is in no way obligated to purchase any material as a result of this notice. The estimated release date of the solicitation is October 16, 2020. The date is subject to change.
