THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) ONLY to identify sources that can provide Data Analytics for Multi-Domain Data Sets. BACKGROUND: The Air Force Test Center, in conjunction with sister services, executes test and evaluation (T&E) of weapon systems in support of delivering combat-credible materiel to our combat-credible military forces in the context of great power competition. As these weapons systems have become more capable, they have also become more complex. Recent T&E results show reduced relevance of decomposing each system to simpler parts, testing those parts, and then aggregating the results to evaluate weapons systems effectiveness and suitability against near-peer adversaries. In response, the T&E community has demonstrated it can execute dense, multi-domain, instrumented test events for complex weapons systems. Existing analysis tool and techniques are not well suited to the rich data sets generated by these instrumented multi-domain tests. This is a request for information on what data science, advanced data analytics, and machine learning capabilities – to include, but limited to, the application of automation, statistics, and linear algebra – can be applied to the multi-domain data sets. RESPONSES: Interested parties are requested to furnish a capability statement; detailing their capabilities to provide these services, include highlights of experience on similar government or commercial contracts/agreements. In addition, provide a list of any contracts or other agreements similar in nature, the program/project name, contract number or other identifier, administering office/address, and the point of contact with the current telephone number. THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) ONLY. This RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes – it does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue an RFP in the future. This request for information does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service whatsoever. Further, the Air Force is not at this time seeking proposals and will not accept unsolicited proposals. Respondees are advised that the U.S. Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this RFI; all costs associated with responding to this RFI will be solely at the interested party’s expense. Not responding to this RFI does not preclude participation in any future RFP, if any is issued. It is the responsibility of the potential offerors to monitor this site for additional information pertaining to this requirement. Responses shall not be proprietary and will be unclassified. Responses shall be provided in a Microsoft Word or a Microsoft Word compatible format. Submissions should be to the point and no more than 10 double spaced pages.
