Contracting Officers may solicit... NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE: This is a notice of intent to award a sole source contract. Pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) 13.106-1(b)(1)(i). Contracting Officers may solicit from one source if it's determined only one source is reasonably available to satisfy agency requirements, as supplemented with additional information in this notice. The Mid-Atlantic Regional Maintenance Center (MARMC) in Norfolk, Virginia, intends to award on a sole source basis a Firm Fixed Price purchase order (PO) to Kampi Components Company Inc. The Government requires award to Kampi Components Company Inc. (Kampi) as they are the only authorized reseller of the OEM, The Elliot Company Group. The OEM, Elliot Company Group, is the OEM for the unit and the government is required to have the OEM oversee repairs. Elliot Company Group holds the proprietary rights to the Elliot Group manufactured Forced Draft Blower and related components. This requirement is for the repair of a Forced Draft Blower, MFR: ElliotCompany, MFR ID: 44BH-2, MFR DWG: 8R0075,8R0098, APL: 057990023L and one Turbine Rotor, Part Number: 8R0076-1. NAICS Code: 335311; FSC/PSC Code: J998: Place of Performance: Norfolk, VA 23511. Other persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement by Thursday, December 7, 2023, at 5PM EST. Such capabilities information will be used solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. All information shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
