DLA Troop Support intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the acquisition of Cargo Pallet Covers, National Stock Number (NSN) is 3990-00-930-1480. The solicitation number will be SPE8E9-23-R-0005. This NSN is procured to a Commercial Item Description (A-A-55437, Type I). This NSN has a critical application and requires source inspection. The solicitation period will be 30 days; the RFP will be posted on Beta Sam AFTER June 6, 2023. This procurement will be for a Long-Term Contract. The government intends to utilize the procedures of FAR 13.5, Commercial Test Program, to solicit for an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity contract. The government intends to make one, single award. Resultant contract(s) will have a one-year base period and four, possible, one-year option periods with an Economic Price Adjustment. The contract guaranteed minimum will be 10% of the calculated total for each contract(s) issued. The guaranteed minimum will apply ONLY to the base period. Large businesses will be required to submit a subcontracting plan. This acquisition will be conducted on an unrestricted basis. All proposals must include a copy of a completed solicitation with Firm-Fixed Pricing for the one-year base. Follow directions as outlined in the solicitation when posted. The Government is interested in awarding a DLA direct contract with stock shipments only. DLA Troop Support anticipates issuing a solicitation for the referenced item under an Indefinite Quantity/Indefinite Delivery Contract. The contract may be for a term longer than one year. Furthermore, it may contain an option to extend the term of the contract. If an option to extend the term of the contract provision were included in the solicitation, each option term would be one year. However, the total contract term will not exceed five years.
