This is a Pre-Solicitation Notice as required by the Small Business Act (15 U.S.C. 637(e)) and the Office of Federal Procurement Policy Act (41 U.S.C. 416) and fulfills the synopsis and advertising requirements prescribed in FAR Part 5 – Publicizing Contract Actions. This acquisition is for a Firm Fixed Price, One-Year Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity contract for the manufacture and delivery of the Multiple Leg Sling (3940-01-183-2118). It is a 100% Total Small Business Set Aside. The solicitation number is SPE8EG22R0016. FAR 13.5 – Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items will be utilized. The solicitation will provide for one (1) contract. Any resultant contract will be awarded to the responsible offeror, offering the lowest price, whose offer conforms to all the terms and conditions set forth in the solicitation. The Multiple Leg Sling is a Critical Safety item. Contractor First Article Testing and Contractor Production Lot Testing is required for this acquisition. Delivery terms will be FOB Origin and Inspection/Acceptance will be at Origin. The Government required delivery schedule is 300 days after date of order. Buy American Act clauses apply. This Synopsis (Pre-Solicitation Notice) should NOT be considered a Request for Proposal, Request for Quote, or Invitation for Bid. The Government is in no way obligated to purchase any material as result of this notice. The estimated release date of the solicitation is October 13, 2022. This date is subject to change. A copy of the solicitation will be available through the DLA Internet Bid Board System (DIBBS). All responsible sources will be able to submit a proposal which will be considered by DLA Troop Support.
