Camp James A. Garfield Joint Military Training Center (CJAGJMTC) is seeking Construction Services to repair and/or replace failed culverts at various locations. Contractor shall furnish all design, labor, equipment and materials to perform work in strict accordance with this Statement of Work and Item 611 – Pipe Culverts, Sewers, Drains and Drainage Structures of the Ohio Department of Transportation Construction and Materials Specifications. The following must be removed from CJAGJMTC no later than the project completion date: any soil or organic spoils and debris, all steel, concrete, and wood or other construction materials, equipment and vehicles. Storm water controls such as silt fence and straw bales must remain in place until directed by the CJAGJMTC environmental office; typically when grass has grown in to 70% maturity this is further explained in Attachment 1 “Environmental Procedures”. Work accomplished shall meet or exceed the specifications designated by CJAG Post Engineer. Roadway shall be repaired to match existing roadway surface following construction unless otherwise noted. Antiterrorism Measures are the be included in accordance with the DoD Minimum Antiterrorism for building standards. Our plan is to have one contractor be responsibile for all work in the scope. This procurement will be an open bid, awarded to the a responsible construction business. The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of potential sources for this project included interested Small Business sources and to gage whether there are enough qualified Small Businesses capable of bidding on this project. This notice is for planning purposes only. All interested parties should respond. USPFO-OH intends to issue a solicitation and award of a contract to 2022 CULVERT REPLACEMENT on CJAGMTC" . Project Scope: Project site is located on Camp James A. Garfield Joint Military Training Site (CJAGMTC), Ravenna Ohio The magnitude of this project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. All interested concerns will provide this office, in writing, a notice stating their positive into submit a bid as a prime contractor no later than 3 June 2022. This notification, which shall not exceed 5 typewritten pages, must include (1) positive statement of intent to bid as a prime contractor, and (2) a completed and signed Sources Sought Information Request Form (Attached) and (3) A listing of projects completed during the past three years, both for government and private industry. The type of project, dollar value, Contract Number, Location, and Point of Contact are to be included. Indicate if you were prime or subcontractor, and if subcontractor, provide name and point of contact for the prime contractor. (4) A brief outline of resources, subcontractors, and key personnel that would be used to accomplish the contract. In the event that adequate Small Business contractors are not available for adequate competition for this project, it may be advertised as unrestricted.
