Garfield Joint Military Training Center (CJAGJMTC) requires asphalt chip & seal, surface re- paving and full depth repairs at various locations throughout the post. 1 Scope Contractor shall furnish all design, labor, equipment and materials to perform all work in accordance with this statement of work and ODOT standards for asphalt. Work accomplished shall meet or exceed the specifications designed by CJAGJMTC Department of Public Works. All current asphalt roads shall be planed and smoothed as needed. Potholes and other imperfections in paved roads will require an approved hot patch fill prior to the paving process in accordance with this scope. 2 Site of work CJAGJMTC lies north of OH 5 and west of OH 534. The main gate entrance to post is at the center of the southern perimeter fence, accessed from OH 5. Sites of work are all within the post and can be identified on the attached maps. 3 Work to be accomplished Work to accomplish includes, but is not limited to the following items. All work shall be constructed in accordance with the Department of Transportation, the Ohio Department of Transportation and United Facilities Criteria (UFC) 3-250-03 15 May 2001 specifications. Contractor is responsible to verify all distance measurements prior to bidding and will use them for cost estimates and construction. Description of work for each type is as follows: Crack seal Reference ODOT construction and material specifications 2016 423.03 for sealant type specifications. Antiterrorism Measures are the be included in accordance with the DoD Minimum Antiterrorism for building standards. Our plan is to have one contractor be responsibile for all work in the scope. This procurement will be an open bid, awarded to the a responsible construction business. The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of potential sources for this project included interested Small Business sources and to gage whether there are enough qualified Small Businesses capable of bidding on this project. This notice is for planning purposes only. All interested parties should respond. USPFO-OH intends to issue a solicitation and award of a contract to "PAVING PROJECT 2022 on CJAGMTC" . Project Scope: Project site is located on Camp James A. Garfield Joint Military Training Site (CJAGMTC), Ravenna Ohio The magnitude of this project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. All interested concerns will provide this office, in writing, a notice stating their positive into submit a bid as a prime contractor no later than 3 June 2022. This notification, which shall not exceed 5 typewritten pages, must include (1) positive statement of intent to bid as a prime contractor, and (2) a completed and signed Sources Sought Information Request Form (Attached) and (3) A listing of projects completed during the past three years, both for government and private industry. The type of project, dollar value, Contract Number, Location, and Point of Contact are to be included. Indicate if you were prime or subcontractor, and if subcontractor, provide name and point of contact for the prime contractor.
