We require a contractor who will be responsible for planning and executing the removal and replacement of CJAGJMTC chain link fencing with a Base Bid amount Of 6,815 lineal feet of existing fence around the perimeter road. This project will be broken down into the base bid and Alternate options of various lineal feet and work scope. This service needs to begin NLT 1 October and be completed within 270 days. Base Bid - Work begins at approximately Southern, Latitude & Longitude (41.16701715, -81.17082288) at the area known as the “Mile Marker 5”. The work will continue approximately 6,815 lineal feet following the existing perimeter road to the west 5,228 lf and then turn north for approximately 1,587 lf. This will conclude the Base Bid work. Alternates 1-14 - There are 14 other fence replacement locations outlined in the statement of work ranging around 1000 linear feet each that require fence removal and replacement. The total amount of fencing needed for both the base bid and the alternates is around 21,450 linear feet. Background The OHARNG has a requirement to award a firm fixed price (FFP) task order for the removal of the existing Security Fence and replacement in kind with new fence, Top rail, barb wire, posts and gates where needed. The existing fence has been in place since the construction of the base circa 1940. The new fence will meet current Military Standards. The area within 10 feet of the fence will be cleared for maintenance and security requirement. Antiterrorism Measures are to be included in accordance with the DOD Minimum Antiterrorism for building standards. Site Visit Information: Meet at CJAGMTC Building 1068 AUGUST 12 2021 AT 1230.
