NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT AND IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Puget Sound intends to issue a Firm Fixed Priced contract under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), Soliciting from a Single Source, as only one responsible source has been identified as reasonably available to provide the services that will satisfy the agency requirements. Award is anticipated to occur on or about September 01, 2025 to Applied Technical Services for a radiographic inspection of the sonar dome rubber windows on a US Navy Vessel at SRF-JRMC at Yokosuka Japan. The period of performance will be November 10, 2025-November 21,2025. This Notice of Intent is not a request for Expressions of Interest (EOIs), proposals, or quotations. No solicitation documentation exists and no telephone inquiries will be accepted. No contract award will be made on the basis of proposals or quotations received in response to this notice. The Notice of intent is to state that it is the Government's intent to sole source to this requirement. Approval from Small Business Administration (SBA) was provided on August 20, 2025. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 336611- Ship Building and Repairing, with a size standard of 1,300. The applicable Product Service Code is J999.
