Bidders intending to ship transformers to states with stricter PCB regulations, like California, Oregon, or Washington, can only do so if the transformer's PCB levels are below that state's specific limit. Bids listing a destination in such a state without meeting the stricter limit, or intending to export the transformers outside the U.S. for recycling, will be rejected. The generator is responsible for fixing any leaks found at the time of removal before the purchaser can take possession.
