A.3 Metallic scrap located at or near Ft. Bragg, NC. Property consists of one Pettibone Model 290M tractor with trailer that has an estimated weight of 55,100lbs. The Purchaser is required to remove an estimated 55,100 pounds. The Purchaser is responsible for removal and disposal of all scrap residue, to include all metallic and non-metallic material at no cost to the Agency. The actual total weight is unknown. The use of an estimated weight in Table 1 is to provide for comparable bid evaluations and to establish payment requirements. You are advised to read all terms and conditions for a complete and full understanding of all requirements of this IFB prior to submitting a bid. Generally, scrap material sourced to the resulting contract(s) is considered safe to sell and has no additional restrictions by this Agency. The scrap material issued under this contract shall be assigned a Demilitarization Code of A and will be categorized into the SCL(s) listed below. Over the duration of the performance period the Government guarantees to issue the Purchaser a minimum total weight equal to the “Minimum Guaranteed QTY (LBS.)” identified per SCL listed in Table 1, as subject to variations authorized by SBR Part 2, Article 12.
