Description: One U.S. or foreign flag, Lift-on/Lift-off (LO/LO) breakbulk vessel capable of carrying cargo delineated in a packing list, available upon request, to support resupply operations for McMurdo Station, Antarctica/Operation Deep Freeze 2022. The vessel shall have minimum of 50 Reefer Plugs (230V/60HZ/3 PHASE), minimum of two cranes with 100 MT (per crane) lifting capacity, a maximum overall length of less than or equal to 180 meters (590 feet) or a laden draft of less than or equal to 9.7 meters (32 feet) and a minimum laden speed of 15 knots. 17. The place/range of delivery is Port Hueneme, CA and the place/range of redelivery is Port Hueneme, CA. Laydays commence and cancel 22 December 2021. The period of performance will be for 77 days for the awarded charter. 18. Set-aside Status: N/A. The decision to release this solicitation as “Unrestricted” is based on responses received from a recent market survey for this service.
