The 42d Contracting Squadron, Maxwell Air Force Base (AFB), AL, is seeking sources that can provide a classroom drone package in support of the Air Force Junior Reserve Officers' Training Corp (AFJROTC) at Maxwell AFB that meets the requirements of the attached “Draft” Statement of Objectives (SOO). All feedback and information received may be used to determine the appropriate acquisition strategy. NOTES OF IMPORTANCE: A solicitation does not exist for this requirement. This is only a sources sought synopsis, so please do not submit proposals. The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this sources sought. If the Government decides to pursue a solicitation, portions of your responses to this sources sought may be incorporated into the final solicitation. Respondents are discouraged from submitting any information deemed competition-sensitive or proprietary. Respondents will not be reimbursed for any costs incurred in responding to this sources sought. Information submitted will not be returned to the respective respondents. Oral submissions of information will not be considered in response to this sources sought. To assist the Government in developing a potential acquisition strategy, please provide the following information: GENERAL INFORMATION: Company name, address, point of contact, voice and fax telephone numbers and email address. Type of business, (i.e., small, small disadvantaged, woman-owned, Hub Zone, serviced- disabled veteran-owned small business, large business, etc.), under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 339930, which contains a size standard of 500 EMP. CAGE Code and DUNS Number. Under which NAICS code does your company usually provide the requirements described above. Please provide rationale for your answer if different from NAICS 339930. Please describe any customary commercial contract terms or conditions that you feel would make any resulting contract more effective if applicable. CAPABILITIES: The Government is seeking qualified, experienced sources interested in providing a classroom drone package. Please address the following regarding your capabilities in meeting this requirement: Review the attached SOO, specifically paragraph 2.1 – 2.1.9 and provide manufacturer specifications or product literature for the drones that clearly demonstrates your company’s ability to meet these objectives. Also provide an example of the curriculum that will meet the objectives identified in paragraph 2.2-2.3.1. Provide no more than two (2) references for no more than two (2) recent and relevant contracts (drones) performed in the last three (3) years. Include name, address, telephone number, and e-mail address for each reference. Also, provide a brief description of the drones provided. For any contract information include the contract number, total contract value and delivery dates. Contracts must be the same or similar to the items described in the attached draft SOO.
