Continuous Wave (CW) Lasers
The Air Force Metrology and Calibration Program is conducting market research to identify sources capable of providing two Continuous Wave (CW) Lasers for use at the Air Force Primary Standards Laboratory in Heath, Ohio. The lasers must meet or exceed specifications including 1064 nm wavelength, adjustable 1–20 W output power, and vertical polarization, serving as primary optical power sources for calibrating high-accuracy power meters. Interested vendors should submit a capability statement with technical documentation, rough order of magnitude pricing, and estimated delivery timelines. Responses are due by June 12, 2026, at 2:00 PM ET, and no funds are currently available for this acquisition. Both large and small businesses are encouraged to participate, and joint ventures or teaming arrangements are welcome.
