All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary, and the Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government. As part of its market research, the 355th Contracting Squadron is issuing this Sources Sought to determine if there exists an adequate number of qualified interested contractors capable of providing solutions to meet the requirement. The Government may use the responses to this Sources Sought for information and planning purposes. The Government is seeking companies that have the capability to deliver approximately 40 – MSR Gaurdian Gravity Purifiers (PN 13460), MSR Thru-Link Inline Water Filters (PN 13236), MSR Guardian Purifiers (PN 02370), 10L Dromedary Bags (PN 09588), MSR XGK™ EX Stove (PN 11045) and MSR XGK-EX Shaker GK Jets (417206). The Government will accept responses for alternative filters & stoves that offer similar features. Each water filtration system should meet NSF protocol P248 military testing standard for removing viruses (99.99%), bacteria (99.9999%), protozoa (99.9%), sediment and microplastics from “worst-case” water conditions, This Sources Sought is only for the purpose of identifying potential sources as part of the 355th Contracting Squadron’s market research. No Request For Quote (RFQ) exists; therefore, do not request a copy of the RFQ. Responses to this Sources Sought are not quotes on which 355 CONS can issue any contract. This Sources Sought is issued for information and planning purposes only and does not itself constitute an RFQ. The Government does not intend to award a contract based only on responses to this Sources Sought. All information received in response to this Sources Sought marked "Proprietary" will be protected and handled accordingly. Interested parties are responsible for adequately marking proprietary or competition sensitive information contained in their response. The Government reserves the right to ask follow-up clarifying questions to individual companies based on proprietary information submitted without posting those questions. Responses to the Sources Sought will not be returned. Responders are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this Sources Sought. The Government will not pay for information received in response to this Sources Sought.
