The government awarded a TO with a base period plus four (4) option periods (12 months each; 60 months total) to Gartner, Inc via Blanket Purchase Agreement under the DOD ESI. This contract was awarded as Firm Fixed Price using FAR 8.405-6(a)(1)(i)(B), "Only one source is capable of providing the supplies or service required at the level of quality requried because the supplies or services are unique or highly specialized" for the acquisition of IT Research and Informative Services. AFNWC required the renewal of an existing subscription to Gartner Research for Executive Program Leadership Team, Team Leaders, and Partner Members. They are the only one source able to provide the services necessary and are the only vendor able to offer a Top-Secret Facility Clearance.
