Direct your requ... LTC Synopsis NOTICE TYPE: Pre-Solicitation TITLE: Single NSN for A-BE; CH-47 Chinook Weapon Systems, Long Term Contract OEM The Boeing Company. This agency proposes to issue a solicitation for a long-term strategic/sole source contract which will include one (1) NSN to support the A-BE: CH-47 Chinook weapon system. The NSN targeted to be added for this contract effort is NSN: 1560-01-689-4236, Part Number: 724S6071-127, Noun: Ramp Assembly, Aircraft with the following specifications: AMRC Code: 4D, with an AMC/AMSC expiration date of 14 August 2025. The required Production Lead Time will be 540 days after contract award. The proposed sole source action will be issued to The Boeing Company, Contractor, and Government Entity (CAGE) code covered by this acquisition: 77272. The proposed action is intended to be on a sole source basis with various contracts issued to other associated CAGE as supported by a J&A IAW FAR 6.302-1 “Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements”. The proposed firm fixed price contract will be for a total of five (5) years period of performance that will begin the date of award with an annual demand of five (5) units for pricing Year 1, three (3) units for Years 2 and 3, and two (2) units for Years 4 and 5. Letters expressing interest in subcontracting provided to the contracting officer will be forwarded to the identified OEM. This is proposed to be a FAR 15 effort. If other NSNs are subsequently added, as defined by the terms of the contract, they will be synopsized separately. This item is being added to contract SPRPA1-22-D-001U, awarded to The Boeing Company, CAGE Code: 77272 in accordance with the originally approved J&A. However, the NSN identified here was not included in the list of original items synopsized for this effort. The contract has a maximum of nine years remaining. The contract requires supply of parts, as well as other functions including but not limited to inventory management, forecasting, distribution, storage, reliability improvements, engineering maintenance and design control affecting these parts.
