Solicitation Number: There is NO solicitation at this time Notice Type: RFI / Sources Sought Synopsis: The Naval Sea Logistics Center is issuing this sources sought notice as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having the resources and interest in leasing Material Handling Equipment (MHE) in accordance with the attached Statement of Work (SOW). This request for capability information does not constitute a Request for Quote (RFQ); submission of any information in response to this announcement is purely voluntary and the Government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred. The Government anticipates soliciting a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract, consisting of 31 units of MHE and maintenance support, for a one year Period of Performance (PoP) and four option years. If your organization has the capability to provide the requested MHE, please complete the attached “Questions for Industry” word document and return via email to Indiana.r.bolger.civ@us.navy.mil no later than the response date and time identified on this notice. DO NOT INCLUDE ANY CLASSIFIED, CONTROLLED UNCLASSIFIED, OR ARMS EXPORT CONTROLLED DOCUMENTS OR INFORMATION IN YOUR RESPONSE. CONTRACTORS ARE REQUIRED TO ADHERE TO OPERATIONS SECURITY (OPSEC) REQUIREMENTS. Any information submitted by respondents as a result of this sources sought notice is strictly voluntary. This sources sought notice is for information planning purposes; the Government will not pay or otherwise reimburse respondents for information submitted, and it is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government. All documentation shall become the property of the Government. The Government is not soliciting, nor will it accept proposals as a result of this sources sought notice. All firms responding to this sources sought notice are advised that their response is not a request to be considered for a contract award. If a solicitation is issued, it will be announced later via the Government-wide point of entry and all interested parties must respond to that solicitation announcement separately from the response to this sources sought notice. Response to this notice is not a request to be added to a bidders list or to receive a copy of a solicitation.
