23-MDA-11626 This is a notification that the Missile Defense Agency (MDA), 5224 Martin Road, Redstone Arsenal, AL 35898, intends to issue a sole source solicitation under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 32... 23-MDA-11626 This is a notification that the Missile Defense Agency (MDA), 5224 Martin Road, Redstone Arsenal, AL 35898, intends to issue a sole source solicitation under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(5), as enacted by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-5(b)(4) - “Sole source awards under the 8(a) Program”. This procurement falls under the 8(a) Program and is authorized or approved by statute. Contract scope is for execution of MDA test infrastructure projects including Sustainment, Restoration, and Modernization and Improvement and Modernization to existing Range Infrastructure that directly supports Missile Defense System test execution. Locations requiring support include but are not limited to: Wake Island, Meck Island, Reagan Test Site, White Sands Missile Range, Pacific Missile Range Facility, Kauai Test Facilities, or any other test support or test execution location. Market research identified Brice Engineering capable of accomplishing all objectives of this requirement with appropriate in-house skill sets, vast partner/sub-contractor base, and expertise to support and fulfill the technical requirements. This requirement is a follow-on to a previously approved effort under the Small Business Administration (SBA) 8(a) Program. SBA accepted the MDA Request for Sole Source Offer Letter and determined that Brice Engineering, LLC meets the 8(a) Business Development Program’s social disadvantaged requirement. The solicitation will be issued under HQ0855-24-R-0001 and will fall under product service code AC13 and North American Industry Classification System code 561210. The estimated period of performance for this effort will be 4QFY2024 to 4QFY2029. This effort is currently being performed on contract HQ0147-19-D-0014. This notice is not a request for proposals. However, responsible sources may submit a capability statement. The Government will not reimburse any costs associated with capabilities statements or other correspondence submitted in response to this notice.
